Support

A real person reads every message. That person is also the one who wrote the app, so bug reports go straight to the desk that can fix them.

Before you write

Three details make almost any report solvable on the first reply: your device and iOS version, the version of Larder & Lore from the app's settings screen, and what you did immediately before the problem appeared. Screenshots help more than descriptions.

Common questions

My recipes aren't showing up on my other device.
Sync runs through your own iCloud account, so both devices need to be signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud Drive turned on. Check Settings → your name → iCloud and confirm Larder & Lore is switched on there. Sync also pauses on Low Data Mode and when iCloud storage is full — both are silent, and both look exactly like a broken app.
I reinstalled the app and my recipes are gone.
They are almost certainly still in iCloud rather than lost. Sign in to the same Apple Account and give the first launch a minute on a good connection before concluding anything. If they haven't returned after that, write in before adding anything new, so nothing gets tangled.
How do I restore a purchase on a new device?
Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, not to the device. Use the restore option in the app's settings while signed in to the account that bought it. If the purchase was made on a family member's account, Apple's restore won't find it — that's an Apple-side rule, not something the app can work around.
A recipe imported from a website came in wrong.
Sites structure their recipes in wildly different ways and some of them fight being read at all. Send the link along with what came out wrong; import handling improves site by site, and a real example is what makes that possible.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting the app removes it from the device. To remove the synced copy as well, go to Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage, find Larder & Lore and delete its data. Because that data sits in your iCloud rather than on a server here, this is something only you can do — there is no account on our side to close.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. Use reportaproblem.apple.com. If the reason is something broken in the app, write in as well — that's a bug report we want.

Requesting a feature

Send it. Small app, short list, and requests genuinely shape what gets built next. It helps to describe the cooking problem you're trying to solve rather than the feature you have in mind — the underlying problem often has a better answer than the one either of us thought of first.
